It's all in the stars

The easier things are, the more likely we are to use them. With an audio conferencing it is no different, there are different shortcuts that you can use to take advantage of the features given to you.

*0: This command is used for whenever you are having any issues, it connects you to the operator to assist you with your questions.

*22: Start recording your meeting and play it back at any time.

*96: Use this if your the host in a meeting and your guests background noise is distracting you or some of the other participants. It will mute everyone so that you are the only one making noise in the meeting.

*97: This is the counter-action to our last command, it allows you to un-mute all of the participants.

*6: Our last command is to mute your own line, this can be useful if you need to have a quick side conversation or if their is background noise.

You can completely control your audio conference using the star commands on your phone.

Access recordings

*22 allows you to record your audio meeting so that you can play it back at a later time. Once the conference has ended the host can send out an email with instructions on how to get the replay. You can access all of your recordings at your companies online hub.

Access your hub

CallTower strives to make all of our clients meetings as easy and productive as possible. You can access your companies online hub to make changes to your account, or retrieve recordings at any time. All you have to do is use the login credentials that you received in your welcome email. If you are an account administrator then you have the ability to add and delete users in the company hub as well.

Access numbers

When you receive your welcome email with all your meeting credentials, you are provided with the ability to host your own audio conferences. The participants to your audio conference can dial-in from anywhere, whether it is across town or across the world. For local calls, participants will want to use toll numbers while the toll-free number is for long distance. International calls are also accessible through your plan. Your probably thinking, this seems really complicated, there are way too many numbers to remember. You can use the Connect Me feature so that you don't need any of those numbers! In one click, you can have the meeting call you, making on-the-go meetings easier then ever.

Toolbar invitations

With the Outlook toolbar, scheduling meetings has never been easier. The toolbar scheduler is a plug-in that is integrated to Outlook and lets you schedule and track meeting invitations in your Outlook calendar. The toolbar is fully integrated with both Outlook 2007, and 2010. It is a perfect tool for busy business professionals. These types of people live by their calendar, and having your meetings in there is extremely convenient. It serves as a reminder for them, and you can also connect to the meeting with one-click if your invitation contains the meeting URL. If you are an administrator or have access to a colleagues Outlook calendar you can also send meeting requests with the proper meeting room information on that persons behalf.

Follow these 5 steps and you will be well on your way to having a seamless audio conference!
