CallTower, a global leader in delivering cloud-based enterprise-class unified communications and collaboration solutions, announced today that CallTower Connect, their unifying online administrative system for solutions, now can provision CT Cloud SIP. CallTower customers will now be enabled to set-up and manage CT Cloud SIP alongside Cisco, Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, email and conferencing in one easy-to-use application.  

CallTower Connect is a solution management application, built from the ground up for speed, ease of use and personalization, designed to manage by user and location.  The application is launched from a web browser by an end user or company administrator to add or manage CallTower hosted services such as CT Cloud SIP, Cisco UC and Microsoft solutions including Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams.  

CT Cloud SIP is CallTower’s cloud-powered SIP trunking solution. As businesses move away from traditional phone systems to an all-IP environment, they are embracing SIP trunking as the standard for voice and multimedia communications. SIP trunks replace the older PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) trunks that network operators use to provide dedicated voice calling functionality to enterprises with an on-premises PBX (Public Branch Exchange). SIP trunking is a helpful transitional technology that allows enterprises to benefit from enhanced communications services while continuing to draw value from existing investment in on-premise equipment.
